What Sets Us Apart From The Rest
Thanks to technology, the world is moving at a faster and more efficient pace than ever before. Technology is all around us, and is itself constantly changing. We believe in the power of technology, and we implement the most state of the art technology in every aspect of our real estate business.
Today's consumers are a savvy bunch. They are using their smartphones and the internet to do everything from paying their bills, to locking their cars! The first place a buyer goes to look for a home is the internet, so we know that the best way to market your home for sale is to utilize that technology. We market your home on over 24 websites! We use social media (facebook, twitter, etc.) to engage buyers and spread the word about your home. Google will someday control the world, so we utilize every tool, and there are many, that they offer us. We use QR Codes, which hold information, such as a website, so that curious buyers can instantly view details and photos of your home via a website dedicated to your property. To learn more about QR codes, please click here. (Trust me, you'll be glad you got in on this amazing and easy to use piece of technology)
To learn more about our technology strategy and why we succeed where others fail, please give us a call and we'd be happy to go over all of it with you.
Business Philosophy and Mission
The term “real estate” can sometimes be cold and abstract, but there is nothing cold or abstract about what we do. We are in the business of helping people buy and sell their homes. This almost always involves change, transition, stress, anxiety, and excitement, often, all at the same time. Selling and buying a home is usually a very personal experience and has long-term implications. Kids are raised, friends are made, dreams are born and fulfilled – in short, life happens.
We believe in homeownership. We believe that it is good for families, schools, the economy, and the community as a whole. We are proud to be in this business. We feel honored and privileged to be entrusted with helping our clients buy and sell their homes and move toward their goals and dreams.
In addition, we believe that full service...great service is far too rare these days. We believe that you deserve much better service than you usually receive. With this in mind we have structured our business with services and programs aimed at getting you what you really want:

Family Man At Heart
I am certainly a Realtor® and proud to be one, but first and foremost, I am family man.My wife, Deb, and I were high school sweethearts and were married during our freshman year in college. Together we were very involved in raising ourr sons, Josh, Jeremy and Joel, and daughter, Jessica. When our kids were in middle and elementary school, we moved from Colorado to Rancho Peñasquitos and the Poway School District.
It's a Good Life
When I'm not handling matters for my clients, my activities frequently center around home and family. Holidays and other special occasions, when everyone is together, are especially valued. As a family we love to eat, talk and play games. It can get pretty intense in our home, but we have a lot of fun. Deb and I also love going to the movies, traveling and meeting friends over good food and conversation. As a matter of fact, what we enjoy most of all is sitting down with family and friends in a pleasant atmosphere with good food, good drink and good conversation. It doesn’t get better than that.
Hi I'm Jessica Christensen. I graduated from Mt Carmel High School here in Rancho Penasquitos, in 2005. After graduating, I ventured to Long Beach, CA, where I attended California State University Long Beach and majored in political science with the intent to receive my social science teaching credential. During my time in Long Beach, I worked my way up the restaurant industry ladder, where I landed a job as the assistant general manager of the historic Sam's Restaurant at age 20. It was here that I came to realize that I flourished in the service industry.
California Budget Cuts and Career Moves...
During my third year, fate brought my boyfriend Jeff (who is my big brother's childhood friend) and I together. My heart still belonged to San Diego, so I decided it was time to join him here. My timing, however, was not great. I began the, what I thought should be easy, process of applying to San Diego State and Cal State San Marcos as a transfer student. I was stunned when they told me that due to the severe budget cuts, neither would be accepting transfers. So, I began working for my Dad as a transaction coordinator, and became more and more involved in the business.
Lemons to Lemonade!
It is now two years later, the State Colleges are in just as bad a shape as ever, and I still have a year to go to complete my degree, so I decided to squeeze the lemons life had given me. I just got my real estate license and I am more excited about being a Realtor than ever! Because of my enthusiasm for people and passion for the service industry (specifically the real estate industry), as a whole, I truly believe this is where I am supposed to be! Hey, Bill Gates doesn't have a college degree either...
